This post is in partnership with Ka’Chava. I only endorse products I believe in.
I’ve been paying closer attention to what I put in my body. Between a busier-than-ever work schedule, constant childcare and school logistics, and jam-packed weekends, I felt like I’ve been slipping on my health goals and my body feels it. So I made a promise to myself: no more kids’ leftovers, skipping breakfast, or grazing through lunch.
But the thought of prepping healthy meals during the morning or lunch rush isn’t sustainable which is why I’ve turned to protein powders and shakes. And I’ve tried plenty, but one brand stood out for one simple reason: taste.
That’s how Ka’Chava went from a test run to a full-blown staple in my pantry. In fact, I keep all six flavors stocked at all times. So, here are my official rankings of every Ka’Chava flavor.

It’s so much more than a Protein Powder
One of the things I love most about Ka’Chava is the variety. It goes way beyond your typical chocolate and vanilla flavors with the addition of Strawberry, Coconut-Acai, Matcha, Chai. With six unique flavors, there’s something for every craving, mood, and ingredients you have on hand.
Here are other reasons why I love Ka’Chava:
- It’s a complete meal: It’s not just a protein powder. It contains all the macronutrients your body needs, like protein (25 grams), carbohydrates (20 grams), and healthy fats (6 grams).
- It’s packed with micronutrients: It’s filled with essential vitamins and minerals like iron, vitamin B12, zinc, selenium, iron, calcium, and vitamin D.
- It’s easy on digestion: It’s packed with 6 grams of fiber, plus, it has probiotics, prebiotics, and digestive enzymes to further boost digestion and gut health.
- It’s made with whole food ingredients: All ingredients are sourced from real, whole foods: sugar from real fruit, fiber from oats, acacia, flaxseeds, and chia seeds, and carbs from superfruits like acai berry, camu-camu, and chlorella.
My 3 Must-Have Flavors
Sharing my top 3 flavors… well technically 4 because my 3rd place is tied. I just couldn't decide!
🥇Strawberry
I’ll drink this by itself blended with ice, but of course this flavor is incredible in any berry-based smoothie. It sold out for a while (for good reason!), but it’s finally back in stock. To take it up a level, I love these little bites for breakfast or as a snack on-the-go:
Strawberry Cashew Bliss Balls
Ingredients
- 10 pitted dates (soaked in warm water)
- 2 scoops Strawberry Ka’Chava
- 1 cup freeze-dried strawberries
- ½ cup cashew butter
- 1 cup rolled oats
- 2 tbsp honey
- Pinch of sea salt
Instructions
- In a food processor, pulse oats until they become a coarse flour.
- Add the rest of the ingredients and blend until sticky and well combined.
- Roll the mixture into small bite-sized balls.
- Chill in the fridge for at least 30 minutes.
🥈Vanilla
This is the perfect base flavor for any smoothie or snack recipe. It blends seamlessly into anything you’re making. This is the smoothie I could drink daily:
Peanut Butter Banana Blueberry Smoothie
Ingredients
- 2 scoops Vanilla Ka’Chava
- 1 frozen banana
- ½ cup frozen blueberries
- 2 tbsps peanut butter
- 1.5 cups unsweetened almond milk (or water)
- Handful of ice
Instructions
- Add all ingredients to a blender.
- Blend until smooth and creamy.
- Pour into a tall glass and enjoy.
🥉Matcha
This one’s my go-to for a mid-afternoon pick-me-up. It’s light, energizing, and has just enough of that earthy matcha vibe to wake me up without the crash. I usually shake or blend it with a ton of ice for a protein-packed iced matcha or make my favorite Matcha Mango Smoothie.
Ingredients
- 2 scoops Matcha Ka’Chava
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1.5 cups unsweetened almond milk
- 1 cup frozen diced mango
- 1 tbsp honey
- Handful of ice
Instructions
- Add all ingredients to a blender.
- Blend until smooth.
- Pour into a tall glass and enjoy.
🥉Chai
Shaking or blending this flavor with a ton of ice is like sipping on a creamy iced chai latte. I also like baking it into Pumpkin Spice Muffins:
Pumpkin Spice Muffins
Ingredients
- 2 scoops Chai Ka’Chava
- 1½ cup almond flour
- 1 cup pumpkin purée
- 3 eggs
- ¾ cup plain Greek yogurt
- ⅓ cup maple syrup
- 2 tbsp coconut oil, melted
- 2 tsp pumpkin pie spice
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 tsp baking powder
- Pinch of salt
- (optional) ½ cup dark chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, mix the wet ingredients.
- In another bowl, mix the dry ingredients.
- Add wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and mix well, until combined.
- Scoop batter into a greased muffin tin (about ¾ full).
- Bake for 25 to 30 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
