My husband Jason and I love to travel, and we had no plans to slow down once we had kids. Now, my two little ones, Caden and Willow, are seasoned travelers with wanderlust just like their parents. Of all the places we’ve visited so far, Mexico stands out as one of the most memorable. IMO, it’s the luxury resort we stayed at that really made the trip a great one for us.

Moon Palace The Grand is the one family-friendly resort that I can’t stop talking about. Several sister properties make up the Moon Palace in Cancun, but it’s The Grand that gets my recommendation. With a long list of luxurious accommodations, there’s no shortage of ways to treat every member of your family to a vacation they’ll never forget.

It’s also the first and only all-inclusive resort in Mexico awarded five stars by Forbes.
It’s hard to imagine a Mexican resort vacation better than the one that Grand Velas can offer. You can take in the sights and sounds of the Sea of Cortez while your kids swim in the oceanfront family pool. If a private beach with calm waters is a must-have for your Mexican vacation, this is the resort for you. Montage Los Cabos is a Forbes Five-Star resort known for its huge horseshoe-shaped beach nestled in a quiet cove. You’ll be hard-pressed to find someone at this beach cove who isn’t staying at the resort.
Montage Los Cabos is comprised of several low-rise buildings that house 122 guestrooms, suites, and Casas as well as 52 residences. They range in size from 895 square feet for a room with either a king bed or two queen beds to 10,870 square feet for a five-bedroom casa.
There is no shortage of things to do at this resort. You can cool off in one of the three pools or work up a sweat on the pickleball and tennis courts. You can even enjoy a round (or two) of gold on the Twin Dolphins golf course. But wait… there’s more!
Montage’s various fitness and entertainment offerings are truly impressive. Horseback riding, jet skiing, and snorkeling are offered onsite. As is a massive spa providing indulgent, almost life-changing, treatments. When you work up an appetite, you can enjoy Thai, Mexican, or Italian food at one of the three restaurants.

Waldorf Astoria Los Cabos Pedregal in Cabo San Lucas
Waldorf Astoria Los Cabos Pedregal is a luxury resort located on a bluff overlooking the Pacific Ocean. But the spectacular views are just one of the many reasons to stay here.
For starters, Waldorf Astoria Los Cabos Pedregal has been recognized as the best Hilton property in the world. Also, in 2022, Waldorf Astoria Los Cabos Pedregal was voted the number-one resort in Mexico by Travel and Leisure readers.
