Half Baked Harvest is my FAVORITE food blog right now. If you follow me on Instagram (please do), you’ll see that I cook and bake from Tieghan Gerard’s food blog a lot… like almost exclusively.
My husband and I are borderline obsessed, and for good reason: I haven’t made a single mediocre recipe. All of her recipes are ones we’d like to have on rotation monthly.
Who is Half Baked Harvest?
With over 2 million followers on Instagram and 2 bestselling cookbooks, Tieghan Gerard has mastered approachable, beautiful, creative and delicious recipes that appeal to almost anyone. Her food is a blend of healthy, seasonal and bold flavors (with several indulgent options sprinkled in). My favorite element of her recipes is the rich cultural influence she incorporates from Thai to Korean to French to Turkish and more.
Perfect for the busy modern mom
As a modern mom, you are busy! Luckily Half Baked Harvest has tons of 30 minute or less meals and a lot of “one pot wonders.” Unlike some popular food bloggers, Tieghan Gerard uses ingredients that are easy-to -find pantry staples, and many of her recipes use variations of the same ingredients so you don’t need to worry about having a random ingredient you used once sitting in your refrigerator for months.
My advice: Pick your weekly menu, create a shopping list, stock up in one trip on all the ingredients you’ll need and you are good to go for the rest of the week! Take it a step further and meal prep once the baby goes to bed the night before so you just need to throw your ingredients in a pan to cook dinner quickly.
